Varaždin Quest

The team building program is organized in the historical center of the city of Varaždin. It is intended for middle-aged participants (30 to 60 years), but can be adapted for other age groups upon request.

Participants are divided into teams of up to 6 people, and each team receives tasks they must complete. Upon returning to the starting point, teams are awarded points, which determine the final ranking of all participants. All members of the top three teams receive prizes.

All teams have the same tasks, but they start their quest in different directions or with a time delay of a few minutes (depending on the number of participants or teams).

Teams are formed according to the client's wishes (in advance – before arrival or by drawing lots at the starting point). One member of each team must have a camera or a mobile phone with a camera.

Each team receives a map of Varaždin and written instructions. Teams must return to the starting position within the set time limit of 90 minutes, earning points based on the completed tasks. Each team has a designated start and return time, and delays are penalized with 1 negative point for every 3 minutes late.

Package A – Basic Package

Package A
90–120 minutes
1. Photo tasks
  
  20 photo challenges around Varaždin – from St. Florian's Church to chatting with a market lady. Includes riddles and associations. Each task earns 1 point.
2. Creative task
  
  1 task to create a piece of art at a set location (e.g. a portrait of the town notary). Scored by the mentor's evaluation.
3. Sports challenge
  
  1 physical challenge (e.g. throwing a frisbee disc into a basket from 20m). All team members participate.
4. Gastronomic task
  
  1 task to taste and recognize local specialties.
5. Perception and knowledge test
  
  Short quiz about what was seen in Varaždin.
Top three teams receive awards and recognition
Package B
120–150 minutes
Includes all activities from the basic package, plus:
- Additional creative task
- Additional sports challenge (archery)
- Additional tasting task – Varaždin klipić
- Costumed characters (town notary, purger, baroque lady)
Package C
150–180 minutes
Includes all activities from Package B, with premium extras:
- Tasting of Varaždin cake at a city café
- Personalized Varaždin passport
- Photo in baroque costume (1–2 team members)
- Premium prizes for the top teams
