Plate of Knowledge – Quiz with Tasting
Plate of Knowledge is a quiz with tastings in which teams identify flavours and answer questions about food and drink. It combines a competition with a meal, lasts two to three hours and adapts to the theme, menu and language of the group.
How it works
Participants are divided into teams and, through a series of tastings and themed questions, test their ability to recognise flavours, their culinary knowledge and their quick thinking. Selected dishes and ingredients are tasted, and the challenge is to identify the hidden ingredients and answer questions correctly on:
- Croatian and international cuisine
- spices, wine regions and drinks
- cooking techniques and food facts
Points are awarded for correct answers and for successfully identifying flavours. The atmosphere is competitive, but at the same time relaxed and encouraging for teamwork.
The tasting part of the programme
The tasting menu is adapted to your wishes – from simple bites such as spreads, pastries and cakes, to a multi-course meal. Drinks are tasted as well: rakija, wine, beer or soft drinks.
One plate per team
A shared plate with small plates for serving. Suited to groups who want a more relaxed, sociable format.
Individual plates
Every participant gets their own plate. Suited to more formal occasions and larger groups.
The programme is held at various restaurants, which can affect the price of the menu.
